In Real Life (IRL) Shortcuts is Official!
This is Short. Here at Ability Powered she’s definitely the Hero of Azeroth. She absolutely loves sharing her tricks and tips for gaming. She believes video game worlds can and should be enjoyed by everyone. She wants to help anyone struggling with a boss mechanic or quest find an alternate method to complete their task. She loves the rush she gets from overcoming a hard task in-game and hopes to help others feel it too. Gaming gives you freedom in so many ways and she always wants to keep gaming worlds a positive experience for everyone who logs in.
The Real “Short”
My name is April and I am merely a sidekick here at Ability Powered. Me and Short are a lot alike because we are both focused on video games every day. I get that rush from overcoming obstacle by looking at the problem and trying to outsmart my disability. While Short is 100% gaming 24-7, I live in the real world too which means sometimes my obstacles aren’t just making a jump in a game… It’s things in real life causing problems and making me waste valuable time that I could be using to game with Short. I generally try to outsmart my disability and sometimes I succeed and come up with an alternative to solving the problem I’m having. This is where the question I asked you guys comes into play.
Sooo.. to Do or Not Do IRL Shortcuts
I asked you guys what should I do when I have a good life hack I’ve come up with or tip I have for real life. Should I add it to a different blog? Do I put it here? Do I get stingy and not share it at all? After all, this IS a gaming site. It’s kind of our thing. You guys wasted no time giving your thoughts though. So, after popular reader demand, IRL Shortcuts was born. Real life posts will always be filed under articles with “IRL Shortcuts” in the menu category.
There Won’t be Any Gaming Changes
Keep in mind, me and Short aren’t straying away from gaming guides, tips, and tricks. IRL posts will be rare compared to gaming content we produce, but it will be on this site and not spread out to a new site. I hope readers get some use out of them and we can’t wait to share more with you. But don’t take my word for it, keep an eye on IRL Shortcuts for upcoming posts and let us know what YOU think!
